Travel
The closest airports are Edinburgh (EDI) and Glasgow (GLA).
From EDI, catch a shuttle bus, tram or taxi to Edinburgh Waverley or Edinburgh Haymarket stations (10-20 minutes), then catch a direct train to Pitlochry. From GLA, catch a shuttle bus or taxi to Glasgow Queen Street station, then catch a direct train to Pitlochry. Trains from both Glasgow and Edinburgh take just over 90 minutes, and depart roughly every two hours. You can check times and book tickets at the National Rail site.
Atholl Palace is 1 mile from the railway station: taxis will be available.
